The conservatives will always like to follow whatever is on record and treated as law regardless of its level of effectiveness. To them the researches which have been carried out should direct whatever we do. They are perfectionists in nature. They interpret everything literally.
One of the advantages of documenting your work is to prevent your copyright from getting infringed, a serious crime punishable by law. One of the limitations of such a law is that the one who documents an idea first is taken as if he was the one who discovered it.
Whenever there are inventions and innovations few people embrace them to start with. At times the innovator is ignored. The demand for his products picks when the first group of those who embrace them succeeds as others also wish to benefit. Thereafter his products become widely known, patenting is done and credit is given to the innovator.
Surprisingly enough much as he makes new products someone else could be having that knowledge but either fails to utilise it or use it for making personal products only failing to document and commercialise it.
The main reason for a man inventing or innovating is to come up with products that will help him better his life and perhaps that of other people.
When involved in commercial dealings especially after massive investment in research there is need to recoup all what you have spent then make profit after that be enjoying royalties owing to your innovative works that is why many people patent their work.

There are various theories which describe the origin of earth among them the nebular cloud theory and the creation theory.
