In every election year, Kenyan’s has been experiencing rise in food prices making life unbearable and tough to deal with. Tax increment on basic commodities at this election period greatly suppresses entrepreneurs who at some extent are forced to offer goods of higher prices to citizens.
Exercise duty imposed on imported goods with higher percentage prices continues to worry Kenyan’s day by day.
The governments need to consider its citizens partially at large before raising food prices. Even before budget’s approval there is need for the parliament to keenly make decisions that favour all citizens and not their own benefit.
