Sometimes, actually most times,
I forget to remember that,
I should remember to forget,
You no longer exist in my world.
But it’s not easy to forget,
When I remember how you made me feel.
How you brought me to life,
With your vibrant smile.
The way you brought meaning to my life,
The way I always looked forward to be with you.
How you colored my world,
With the color of love and care.
How can I remember to forget,
How you used to make my heart stop.
How you had answers to my problems,
Sometimes by just hugging me.
I still remember not to forget,
How you knew I was deeply in love,
With you that I would go to the end of the world,
For you and that’s when you decided to leave.
How can I remember to forget,
That you’re in my past now,
And I should forget to remember us?
